Questions? We’ve got answers.
Travel Questions
- Is there a room block available?
- Yes, we have reserved a room block at Corazon Cabo Hotel. The room block rate is available for a minimum of three nights. You can reserve HERE. If you’d prefer to stay elsewhere, please feel free to book an Airbnb or different hotel.
- Can I extend my trip?
- Yes! The room block rate is able to be extended 3 days pre or post the wedding weekend (which is 3/20-23).
- What will the weather be like?
- Cabo is always sunny! It will be a nice high of 80 and low of 55 degrees. Todos Santos though, the location of the wedding, is a bit colder at night, with a low of 55 degrees. We can almost guarantee you’ll be dancing your heart out under the Mexican sky, but bring a light jacket just in case.
- What else is there to do in Cabo?
- Corazon Cabo Hotel has a TON of things to do on the property, from restaurants, to pools, to a beach club. If you want to explore further, we suggest walking along the beach to one of the many restaurants and bars. Mango Deck is right next door in case you want to go extra crazy 😉
- Is the food and water safe to eat/drinks?
- Cabo has a lot of international tourists, so most of the restaurants and hotels are safe to eat/drink at. We have been to Cabo multiple times (including Corazon Cabo hotel where we’re staying) and had no issues with ice, vegetables, etc.
- To be safe though, we would not recommend drinking the tap water (sink, shower) or eating street food…just in case.
Cost Questions
- How much is the room block?Â
- Rooms within our room block start at $329 (not including taxes). If you’re looking to save on costs, we recommend contacting Skylar or Weston to see who else is attending and may be open to sharing a room. Each queen room has two queen beds, so two couples can comfortably stay together.
- How much are food and drinks?
- You can expect food and drinks at or near the hotel to be around $15-20 for a meal, $15 for a drink. This is very in line with San Diego pricing. If you’re looking to save on food and drinks, we suggest stocking up on at Costco or Walmart down the street.
Wedding Questions
- Are kids invited?
- We kindly ask that our wedding be an adult only event. We appreciate your understanding!
- Can I bring a plus one?
- We are having a very intimate, small wedding with only our closest friends and family. If you have a plus one, their name will be included on your invitation.
- What’s the easiest way to get to and from the wedding?
- We will be providing transportation for all guests from the Corazon Cabo to the venue. Even if you are not staying at Corazon Cabo hotel, we still recommend you take the shuttle with us to the venue, as it is an hour from Cabo. The shuttle will have AC, a restroom, drinks, and a fire playlist. Please bring any belongings you may need for the night with you, including a light jacket, medication, etc., as we will be there until 10pm.
- Is the shuttle to the venue safe?
- Yes, we will be driving through populated towns and have done the drive ourselves at night, so we are confident we will be safe. We will also have a local shuttle driver and a planner aboard, who are extremely familiar with the area and have done weddings this same way before.
- Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?Â
- Our wedding will be outdoors, in a natural palm tree forest.
- What if I have food allergy/dietary restrictions?
- Please let Skylar or Weston know of your dietary restrictions so they can ensure there are options available for you.
- Is the ceremony and reception in the same place?Â
- Yes, once we shuttle to the venue, there will be no additional transportation needed. The ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception are all at the same venue.
- Is the dress I’m planning to wear too white?Â
- If you’re questioning it, it might be too close to white. We highly encourage going bold and bright with your attire to match the energy and fun of Mexico – don’t be afraid to be colorful!
- Will there be dancing?
- OF COURSE!! We are in MEXICO! We can’t wait to dance the night away with you all.
- Will there be an open bar?
- Yes, the whole night, just for you 🙂
- Who is invited?Â
- While we would’ve loved to invite absolutely everyone, we had to keep the guest list extremely tight, so the guest list is truly our absolute closest friends and family (and we’ve got some big families!) If you have questions about specific people, please reach out to Skylar or Weston.
- Will there be an after party?Â
- While we don’t have a formal after party planned because we have quite the journey to and from the venue, please feel free to visit the Corazon Cabo Hotel rooftop for a drink afterwards with us, or one of the many clubs nearby. We recommend Squid Row which is right down the road.
- What will the bridesmaids be wearing?
- They will be dressed in brown, but you’re welcome to wear brown as well if you’d like!
